Granular activated carbon is defined as the activated carbon being retained on a 50-mesh sieve (0.297 mm). Granular Activated carbons are like granules which comes under various sizes. Diffusion of the adsorbate is an important factor. These carbons are therefore preferred for all adsorption of gases and vapours as their rate of diffusion are faster. Granular activated carbon is ideal for water treatment, volatile organic compounds removal and gas-phase filtration in industrial applications Available in mesh sizes from 3x6 to 35x80, our GAC is tailored for efficient adsorption in industrial processes.
